The materials that are generally used in filters and consumables are PP/PES cartridges. These are easily available and pocket friendly, but the problem faced is the disposal of cartridges! Cartridges being non-degradable takes a least of 100 years to completely decompose, but as there are no other ways to get rid of the cartridges most of the industries throw them in the yards!
The filters that were supposed to be a machine helpful for cleansing the damages done to environment is itself creating a hindrance in the process. The materials used in filters are very hazardous to the environment in the long run. The particles under 2–3 μm in size are not been removed through the cartridge filters and therefore the harmful elements still lure in and create disasters.
Filters and consumables were the only hope for saving the earth and environment, for the future generations, but we are successfully ruining the earth more and more with them! The cartridges not getting completely decomposed are causing a hindrance in building a cleaner and safer earth!
